The full drum sheet music for “Lowdown” by Boz Scaggs is now available! The song is the first single extracted from the album Silk Degrees (1976), another classic groove by the great Jeff Porcaro.
The drum groove consists of an 8th note hi-hat pattern with strong accents on the downbeat, that you can hear on the right channel. In addition, there is also an overdubbed 16th notes hi-hat part on the left channel. As you can see in the image below the transcription includes a double notation: the overdubbed hi-hat and the main groove.
