It’s time to celebrate! I’m thrilled to share that the blog’s Instagram page reached over 5,000 followers! This milestone reflects the incredible appreciation and support of musicians worldwide for my transcriptions, exercises, and books. Interactions on the posts have grown considerably in the past months. I’m grateful for every single one of you; your support is the heartbeat of this musical journey.
In the next few days, I’ll be glad to present a new look for the blog, with an updated logo and banner that better reflects the dynamic spirit of Francis’ Drumming Blog. I also revised all past articles to ensure the content is as relevant and helpful as possible. My two recently released drum books Steely Dan: 5 Drum Transcriptions and Stone Temple Pilots: 5 Drum Transcriptions will be available in paperback format from January 2025. In addition, a new book is in progress, and I can’t wait to reveal it next year!
