Developing the Kiko Freitas-style samba

Developing samba on drums entails different aspects, such as coordination, independence, and a deep understanding of its unique feel. Thank you to Adam Osmianski at That Drum Blog for sharing an interesting series of articles about Brazilian drumming. One of these posts includes an interesting Kiko Freitas idea, consisting of putting together the left-hand samba rhythm, the right-hand telecoteco pattern, and the foot samba ostinato.
